We’ve visited Taro Taro many times since the crowds have calmed down a little!

Signature Taro Ball Ice (with honey beans instead of crystal pearls)

Recently, I took a few snaps of our favourite dessert item, the Signature Taro Ball Ice with taro balls, pearl sago, and honey beans (instead of crystal pearls).The taro balls are a perfectly chewy texture now, yay!

Ice Cream Delight ($7.90)

We also headed back to try the new Ice Cream Delight dessert :D You choose 3 icecream flavours and 3 toppings. My taro, green tea, and mango icecream scoops were fantastic! The red beans went very well with the green tea and taro icecream, while the popping lychee crystals were a sweet and exciting complement to the mango icecream. Taro balls don’t seem as well-suited to this dessert, so next time I might order honey beans.

Minced Pork Noodles ($7.50)

Even though I ate my icecream dessert first, I ordered Minced Pork Noodles for my late-evening dinner. It’s like the tasty pork rice, but with more pickles and no egg - perfect! It was a little tricky to eat the long noodles from the bowl and they seemed a bit overcooked towards the bottom, but it was a filling and cheap meal :)
