To celebrate my birthday, Utopia offered me a free 6 inch cake of my choosing! I love the fan rewards and discounts. Obviously I picked the cutest cake, “Baby Fugu”, which is in the adorable shape of a puffer fish. The decorations are chocolate and cream and almonds. The inside is a chocolate sponge with walnuts and cream and asian custard layers. It’s not too sweet, but one slice is deceptively filling (even after I removed some of the cream)!

Utopia is most popular for their bubble tea drinks, with a range of drink flavours and fun bits to add-on (my favourites are grape jelly and pearl sago). In the summer months, the Snow Ice varieties are sweet shaved-ice drinks that will give you major brain-freeze!!

Also check out the weird asian snacks, from green tea or taro sponge rolls (my favourites!!) to ham & cheese bread.
Back in the days before I created my own amazing karaoke collection, Utopia was our favourite spot for karaoke. Huge song selection (including songs in languages other than English) with amusing typos in the lyrics and some curious stock videos playing with the older songs. Good fun :D
You’ll find Utopia stores in Myaree, Victoria Park, Willetton, Booragoon, Hillarys, Northbridge, and the CBD.
